JD was in a playful mood as he started his Instagram Live session. He had a surprise for his fans and was excited to share it with them. As he went live, he began calling his Outer Banks castmates one by one.

After a few minutes of chatting, JD reached out to Drew, who was the last cast member he had yet to speak to. But when Drew answered the call, Jonathan's eyebrows shot up in surprise. Drew was lying in bed, and (Y/N) was snuggled up next to him.

JD couldn't contain his excitement as he realized he was witnessing a moment that Outer Banks fans had been speculating about for months. He laughed and exclaimed, "Oh, we have some cuddling going on here, don't we?"

Drew looked startled at first but then grinned widely, understanding the situation. He introduced (Y/N) to the viewers, who were going wild with excitement. Jonathan could see the comments flooding in, asking if they were a couple.

(Y/N) and Drew exchanged a quick glance before looking back at the camera. "Yeah, we're together," Drew said, the smile still on his face.

Y/n lets out a shout as she is slammed down, horribly, over the barricade. She feels her back bending in a way that she most definitely knows it’s not supposed to bend. Y/n plops down onto the floor and takes in shaky breaths as she tries to push through the match. She can feel the pain stabbing her back as she slides into the ring and starts fighting, weakly.

“This is MY title shot!” Liv shouts in her face as she gets y/n prepared for her finisher.

Y/n groans and catches Liv and gives her a power bomb, hurting her back even more as she throws her arm over Liv. Catching the win.

Y/n makes her way backstage, limping as she holds her back. She had just gotten herself a title shot yet her back was hurting her like a bitch. She had two options.

Get to the medical room and find out you fucked up your back which makes you not be able to compete for the title against Rhea. Or, shut the fuck up and suck it up until next week.

“The latter…” Y/n huffs as she leans against a wall and slowly lets herself slide down, her body tensed as hell.

“There you are,” Sami walks over with Kevin and Jey behind him. Y/n notices them and quickly gets up, biting down on her lip hard to hold in the groan as she tries to get herself to untense.

“Hi.” Y/n says through gritted teeth as she sends them a teeth smile as she stands herself up straight.

Kevin looks at her weirdly, “you ok?”

“I’m great.” Y/n lies through her teeth as she keeps herself straight.

“Why you standing like that…?” Jey looks at her warily.

“Trying to get my back straight…you know?” Y/n replies with a nod.

“Is your back ok?” Sami asks worriedly, “did you do something to it during your match?”

“Nah, I just seen someone hunch and it just made me stand up straighter.” Y/n lies again as she looks at all three of them.

“Uh huh…” Jey looks her up and down. “When’s your title shot?”

“Next week…” Y/n nods, “against Rhea.”

“you want us to accompany you to the ring?” Sami asks, “we know the JD will be there, so just in case.”

“Speaking of accompany,” Kevin point at y/n, “you should show up when Rhea interferes, it’ll rise up your new found rivalry.”

Y/n immediately shakes her head, “i’m pretty tired, i think i’m just gonna go back to my hotel room and take a nap.” y/n shrugs.

She was lying but she was also telling the truth. She isn’t tired. But she does want to go back to her hotel room and rest herself because of how tense her back is.

“You sure?” Jey questions, narrowing his eyes.

“So very positive, see ya!” Y/n rushes away as best as she could as she sucks up the pain.

They watch as she limps away, having a hand on her back.

Jey is watching y/n with narrowed eyes as she walks tensely and slowly around the gym. He had forced her to join them to work out together since she’s been going against their “tradition” and making up excuses like…

“I’m too tired…”

“My body hurts…”

“I have a headache…”

This time, Jey was done with the excuses and forced her in here. Now he was concerned as she barely pushed herself to the limit. Usually she does.

“Yo y/n you good?” Jey calls over as he pushes his legs up on the gym equipment. “You look tense as hell.”

Y/n glances over at him and nods, “i’m fine…” her voice cracks and she immediately clears her voice, “i’m fine.”

Sami and Kevin look at Jey who narrows his eyes as he gets off the equipment and walks over to her, “you’re lying.” Jey says, “you’ve been lying for awhile about that.”

“What are you talking about?” Sami looks at Jey who gives them a look.

“She always say yes when she is asked to accompany one of us. She said no and she never says no. She can a stupid excuse too about why she is having her back so straight…it’s been set straight for almost half of this week. Not to mention how you’ve been limping and holding onto your back all the time. And the excuses? Don’t get me started.”

Y/n, Sami, and Kevin all stare at him. “How…” y/n mumbles.

“You’re a horrible liar.” Jey raises an eyebrow.

Kevin and Sami stare at her, “relax yourself.” Kevin demands as he walks over to her.

“So something is wrong? You lied to me when i asked if you did something to it on Monday.” Sami frowns.

“Where are you injured?” Kevin asks.

Sami’s eyes widened, “you need to get that check out immediately y/n.”

The nurse barely even touched her before y/n is immediately tensing even more and trying to subtly move away, “it hurts it hurts.”

The nurse nods and takes that note down, “you won’t be in the match. i’ll be sure to let them know and get you an ambulance over because that seems very serious.” The nurse says before walking out.

Y/n feels all three glares at her, making her shrink. Sami and Jey walk over to her and forces her to lay down, laying her down slowly. “you’re really stupid.” Kevin shakes his head, “I cannot believe you didn’t tell us sooner.”

“When that ambulance comes and your clear, your going home and your going to rest.” Sami scolds, “and we do not want to hear you complain. you can get your title match when you are fully healed and fully rested.”

baekhyun had a beer in his hand. the whole party was at the dance floor, enjoying the last moments of the reception before the newly wed couple left for the honeymoon.

still, he didn't feel the need to be there, celebrating, when he had you beside him.

it's been too long since the last time baekhyun saw you personally - because, in his dreams, he met you constantly. everyone, including you, knew how much he loved you and how he didn't want to break up with you two years ago.

the break up was your fault, you wanted it in the first place. it made sense at the time, to part ways with baekhyun, but seeing him again now... you couldn't even remember why you left him.

"that girl is still single", he commented, pointing at one of the bride's friends. "she can't seem to find someone. it's been what, three years?"

"four. she tried to flirt with you at my birthday party that time, remember?", you mindlessly said.

"oh, that's right!", baekhyun chuckled. "junmyeon was more offended at that than you were..."

you laughed too, at the memory of one of baekhyun's best friends lecturing the girl about how disrespectful she was towards you that night.

"the wedding, the people celebrating them", he looked down at his hands. "i always thought we would be the first ones to get married though, not them."

suddenly, like the universe was playing in baekhyun's favor, a song started to play; the song you and baekhyun always claimed was the perfect soundtrack for your relationship. promptly, he got up from his chair, putting his beer at the table and offering you a hand.

"would you dance with me?"

"for old times' sake... please", he softly said, and in his eyes you could see the longing.

so you took baekhyun's hand, allowed him to take you to the dancefloor. you let him put his hands around your waist, while you wrapped yours around his broad shoulders - all for old times' sake, of course.

you allowed him to guide your body, slowly moving to the beat of the song you knew so well.

"you remember the first time we danced to this song?", but it was you who was asking now.

"how could i forget?", baekhyun whispered, resting his chin on your shoulder.

it was right after you got accepted into a new job, and baekhyun had finally got to rent the new apartment he wanted. everything was working out for the two of you, so to celebrate you made dinner together, got slightly drunk with wine, danced to that song in your living room and made love on the floor. you were so in love.

now, you were at another job; baekhyun was still living at that apartment, even though it felt empty without you; you still knew the recipe baekhyun taught you that night, and the wine you two drank together was still baekhyun's favorite. and still, he was so in love with you.

"i miss you", he confessed, only for you to hear. "i-i'm sorry, but i do..."

as the song came to an end, baekhyun tried to get out of your embrace, but you only pulled him back in as another ballad started to play. you didn't know that one, but you knew you missed baekhyun too.

"shhh", you soothed him, caressing his neck. "you don't have to be sorry. just hold me a bit longer, please."

"No me toques, cabron," Damian snapped as JD McDonagh tried to help steady him, JD flinching away at the command, "You've done too much already."

"I'm so-" JD began to apologize for accidentally hitting the limping man with his own briefcase in front of a live audience.

"Don't care!" Damian yelled, grunting as he lifted himself up onto the exam table, ignoring the worried looks from the other members of the Judgment Day that surrounded him as he continued, "Just leave."

JD immediately looked over at Finn, who looked back and forth between Damian and JD. The latter sighed, turning and slowly walking away from the Judgment Day.

Seeing this, Finn gave Damian a fleeting look of apology before hurrying to catch up with the dejected man. As much as Damian's leg hurt, watching Finn decide to go after JD hurt more.

“Like I don’t even matter,” Damian muttered to himself.

Rhea looked like she wanted to say something, but the medic walked in, followed by two people wheeling in a portable x-ray machine. Dominik gave Damian a pat on the shoulder before moving out of the way, but nothing could make Damian feel any better about his current situation. Wounded by the man who took Finn from him - on the night he needed to cash in, with the very suitcase JD gave to him as a show of camaraderie. What a joke, Damian thought.

Damian winced as he moved his leg to the position the medic instructed and did his best to remain still for the x-ray, despite his blood boiling. Ever since JD McDonagh showed his face and started sticking his nose in Judgment Day business, nothing seemed to go right for Damian. Even his timing was terrible; Damian had planned on talking to Finn about the way he had been feeling the night JD first started interfering. It had taken him days to work up the courage to talk about-

But it didn’t matter now. Finn stopped hanging out with Damian before and after shows, Finn’s time now being consumed by whatever he and his ��old friend” did together. Nothing hurt quite like a man he had once considered his best friend never mentioning this “friend” he seemed to like so much more than Damian. Now, every time he saw JD McDonagh's face, Damian saw the life he could be having right now, with Finn - and it felt like it was hundreds of miles away.

The moment Damian limped out the door - having been told his bones were intact, but he still needed to go easy on his leg - his eyes landed on JD, Finn close behind him.

“Not in the mood, blanquito,” Damian growled as JD opened his mouth.

“You two stay civil while Dom and I bring the car around,” Rhea ordered, walking between JD and Damian on her way through the parking lot.

“Just wanted to apologize,” JD muttered under his breath.

“No va a cambiar nada,” Damian spat, feeling a deep ache in his chest as he caught a glance of Finn putting his hand on JD’s shoulder before looking out into the parking lot instead.

“Look, Damian,” Finn began, making the man he was addressing look him dead in the eyes.

“I’m sick of this!” Damian exploded, “Stop defending him!” - Damian couldn’t stop himself from gripping Finn by both arms as he kept shouting - “Que estás haciendo con el? He’s just some guy!”

“He’s my friend!” Finn replied, angry, but mostly confused, “He’s important to me!”

“And I’m not?” Damian yelled, wincing as Finn shook off Damian’s grip and he had to put more of his weight on his injured leg.

“Fuck, sorry-“ Finn said, moving back closer to Damian to try and give him something to lean on.

“Save it,” Damian stopped him with one hand, having already found his balance again. Then, seeing Finn look a bit hurt, he added, “But thanks.”

Rhea soon pulled up the Judgment Day’s rental car as close as she could to the curb, Dominik lounging in the passenger’s seat next to her.

“That’s my ride,” Damian said to Finn, limping toward the back seats, “Y no voy a sentarme con tu novio, so don’t even ask if he can come with.”

Indian Elections: The Campaign and how much it worked (Part 1)

Since the results are out, let's talk about it (as if we haven't been doing it since the last few hours) properly.

First of all, Uttar Pradesh voters, you people are betrayers. I'm not saying it, BJP & its supporters are. But seriously, Samajvadi Party's campaign for this year was definitely strong. Yogi really thought that it's going to be a piece of cake didn't he. Thank you voters for showing them the ground reality. Ayodhya, Amethi, Raebareli, the trinity of my joy.

Rajasthan. Yes, BJP won here with 14 seats. But lost 10 seats. Congress really shone on its own here, gaining 8 seats when in the last election, it was on the zero mark. Sachin Pilot and that man alone worked on Rajasthan. Honestly they need to put him front and center.

Madhya Pradesh is 100% a well-deserved BJP sweep. Let's not forget that it's not the Modi factor that worked here, it was Shivraj Singh Chauhan. I guess it was tough for West Bengal voters, no? I'm not much familiar Bengal politics but from what I've heard, they had to choose between two evils. Still, Didi gets 29 out of 42 seats, leaving BJP and Congress on the 6 and 1 mark respectively.

Lmao, they fucked up in Bihar. I can rant for hours about this. The seat distribution was already messed up, but Nitish Babu leaving put the nail in the coffin. BJP and JD(U) won 12 seats each, with RJD and Congress winning 4 and 3 respectively. Left also got 2 or 3 seats. I'm glad Pappu Yadav (on Purniya seat) won nirdaliye. Well deserved.

As for Odisha, I guess people have lost all the hopes in Naveen Patnaik, because BJD remained on zero, BJP getting all of its seats (20). Congress won 1 seat here.

I don't have much to say about Delhi. It's a BJP sweep. I guess AAP didn't get to campaign much since Arvind Kejriwal was literally put in jail? I'm still salty that Kanhaiya Kumar lost.

Is it just me, or does the gameplay for the JD vr look bad/weird. The trailer footage shows your avatar's arms on the screen in front of you while dancing but wouldn't that block your view of the map and making it harder to dance?

Also, the aspect of having your own Avatar in the game seems a little tacked on and unconnected to the main gameplay. Unless you can unlock outfits and accessories or furniture through gameplay as rewards. Otherwise, it just seems irrelevant.

And if that's the case, why stop at Dancity? You could have different server rooms, each themed to a separate danceverse. Players could choose a base room and decorate it with trophies acquired in the game (like the apartment they show in game for Dancity or a small hideout for Wasterra or a Witch's hut for Eternyx).

I don't know if you can do stuff like that on VR. But if they're adding a roleplaying element to the game, they should let players explore more environments and have that correlate to The gameplay.

One wild idea I had with this is being able to unlock songs by exploring the environment. For example, if you choose to explore the school area, you could find songs like vampire, Hit Me Baby One More Time, or thank u, next. Or in Scarlet's Palace you can find songs like Drop the Mambo, Magic or Disco Inferno. It might get people excited to walk around the city more and encourage cooperation and communication to find the songs, like a little scavenger hunt everytime new songs gets added.

Mage Ranks the JD2023E Map… thank u, next

Lover Coaster continues with the “surprise” (but not really) song!

I love this song! I also think it was the last good Ariana song! So I’m happy it’s here, and it definitely fits the Lover Coaster theme. And honestly, I like how this one followed abcdefu, as a more softer, mature version of a breakup song to contrast with the angry rant-y energy of the previous song.

And to match the softer song, we have a softer dance routine. There’s quite a bit of repetition in this one, but that doesn’t necessarily make it a bad routine outright. The moves are very soft and ‘feminine’-leaning, matching the song, making use of quick-but-cute movements and those cute little shoulder movements during the bridge. That’s probably my favorite move from the whole routine, it’s just so fun to wiggle your shoulders a little bit! I think the map is ranked correctly, because while the moves themselves aren’t very difficult, the song does drag on a little bit near the end, plus I could see more inexperienced dancers getting tripped up during the verses.

However... while I said the vibe fits the dance, and that a repetitive routine isn’t necessarily a bad one, this one is a bit underwhelming and a bit boring to do. Like I said, my favorite move is the Cute Shoulder Wiggle, but all the other moves just serve their purpose and not much else. They tell the story, but they don’t enhance it. They don’t tell us much more about our coach. Again, they fit the song, but it could’ve gone a bit further.

Our dear coach this time around is Grace, with an... outfit, alright. I know she’s supposed to look like Miss Grande in the actual music video, and I do think they nailed her general vibe on the head. And I would adore the outfit... if that top wasn’t so god-awful. I don’t know what it is about it. I wanna say it’s the blue, but I wouldn’t know what color to replace it with. Maybe I personally would’ve made it less fuzzy, but again, I know why they did it, so at the end of the day I’m at a loss on how to fix what I dislike about it. My absolute favorite part of the outfit is the jacket. It’s played with quite a bit in this map, including going off the shoulder during the aforementioned Cute Shoulder Wiggles.

It might’ve just been the video I linked, but for some reason it felt like the lip synching was way off? The dance moves themselves were fine, and I don’t mind it when dancing along, but it’s a bit jarring either way. Not sure if it’s the video, the fact JD+ is streaming, them reusing the first verse dance (and therefor the lip synch) for the second verse, or if the actress for the coach just didn’t know the song’s lyrics all that well. Either way, I don’t mind it in gameplay, but just something to keep in mind.

The setting is in the Just Dance High School, a familiar setting for those who have been playing the newer games for a while (sooooo... not me <3), as this school (and specifically the hallway) is the same setting for the Good 4 U map! And it’s no coincidence; at the very end of the map, we find out that Grace and the Good 4 U coach are besties, and close enough that Grace taped up photo booth photos of her and that coach in her locker, showing that... we may have to explain something to Harold again.

Something very important to note, is the lyrics of the song:

Spend more time with my friends I ain't worried 'bout nothin' Plus, I met someone else We're havin' better discussions I know they say I move on too fast But this one gon' last 'Cause her name is Ari And I'm so good with that 

Now, obviously in the original context of the song, Ariana is talking about herself, and is learning to fall in love with herself. Which is very good and very valid! However, if you’ll recall, the name of this praticular coach is Grace. And the lore master confirmed to Just Dance content creator ArianaKatana that Good 4 U’s coach’s name is... Ari! While they aren’t a confirmed couple yet, the lore master teased that they could absolutely be more. So... we got basically official lesbians! Which would make them the game’s first official gay couple unless you’re delusional like me and are white-knuckle gripping onto WanderRose like your life depends on it!! And honestly, if you’ll pardon the joke, good 4 them!!!!!!!

SPECIFIC RATING: 6/10

As much praise as I gave the dance, and as much as the dance fits the song, I really do have to dock points for how basic it all ended up feeling. Again, it fits, and I don’t want anyone to walk away thinking this score is from a dislike of the theme. I just know they could’ve done a bit more with it, is all. And I cannot stress enough how much I hate her outfit. However, the song itself is a song I very much enjoy, there are a couple of moves that are very fun to perform, and as I keep repeating, it DOES fit the vibe. And obviously, we love it when lesbians <3 could this count as yuri? I just wish the dance itself went just a tiny bit further.
